Small pets such as dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and etc., are allowed to travel in the cabin as per the Alaska Airlines pet policy. Alaska Airlines states that the first-class ticket holders may carry one pet on their journey, while the normal flight ticket holders are allowed to carry up to five pets along with them. Pets at checked baggage

Guidelines for the Carrier

According to Alaska Airlines pet policy, tough carriers for the pets travelling in the cabin, the carrier must not exceed the dimension (17 x 11 x 7.5) in inches and in centimetres will be (43 x  28 x 19) and the soft or delicate carrier must not be longer than (17 x 11 x 9.5) in inches. 

The carrier must be leak-proof, ventilated properly, the carrier must have an absorbent mattress. Kennels must be strong enough, should have handles, proper ventilation, solid roof. As per the Alaska Airlines pet policy, the passenger must add food and water dishes in the interior for their pets.
